Dame Judi Dench

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Dame Judi Dench on two separate occasions – first in 2022 alongside her daughter, Finty Williams, and again in November 2025 with Sir Derek Jacobi. Our first meeting took place at an intimate, chat-show-style event where Dame Judi reflected on her remarkable career and life achievements, sharing stories with warmth and wit that captivated the room. Three years later, I reunited with her for a special conversation with Sir Derek Jacobi, as the two icons spoke about their shared love for theatre and looked back on their time performing together on stage. Capturing moments between two of Britain’s most celebrated actors – both on and off the stage – was a true honour and a career highlight.
