For the HYROX World Championships in Chicago, USA, I was brought out by Science in Sport to document the journey of elite athletes Holly and Joe as they prepared for and competed in one of the most demanding fitness events on the calendar. From pre-race training sessions to the intensity of race day, I captured every stage of their experience through high-impact video and photography. Alongside the core project, I also collaborated with a number of top athletes—including members of the prestigious Elite 15—creating a wide range of content that showcased the strength, determination, and spirit of the global HYROX community.
Science In Sport Social Reels
For Science in Sport, I produced a series of engaging social reels that followed elite athletes Holly Archer and Joe through their HYROX World Championship experience. These included behind-the-scenes training moments, race-day highlights, and a dedicated fuelling reel that broke down how to properly fuel for a HYROX—bringing Science in Sport’s products to life in a real-world, high-performance setting. The reels were designed to be fast-paced, authentic, and informative, giving followers a close-up look at the preparation and performance of two top-level athletes.
Elite 15 Social Reels
Alongside the main campaign, I collaborated with several members of the Elite 15 to create high-energy, athlete-focused reels. Working with the likes of Lauren Weeks, Tim Wenisch, Lucy Procter, and Sarah Holden, I captured a wide range of content that showcased their unique personalities, competitive edge, and behind-the-scenes moments. These reels resonated strongly within the HYROX community, collectively reaching over 160,000 views and amplifying the presence of each athlete across social platforms.
